Announcing Auditions for Imposters Theater’s BLK Stream Sketch Show

AUDITION NOTICE!

BLK Stream: Live and in Color! 

Do you remember shows like In Living Color? Mad TV? What about shows of today like A Black Lady Sketch Show and Astronomy Club?  

Basically any black-centric comedy show? WE HAVE A SHOW FOR YOU! 

BLK Stream: LIVE and in Color! Is a sketch show that is all about black joy and black silliness. 

We’re looking to cast a black ensemble (18 & older) who are willing to let their comedic side show and be open to giving life to various characters. 

Audition Date/Time:

April 27th, 2025 

3:30-6:30pm

Location: 

Imposter Theater 

4828 Lorain Ave 

Cleveland, OH 44102

The audition will consist of three parts:

  • Perform a 1-2 minute comedic monologue or original character

    • If you have a costume, great, but not required. We want to see your creative side.

  • Improv games and scenes

    • This will show us how you work with others. 

  • Cold reading from select sketches from the show

    • This will show us how you as a performer not only interpret the sketch but what you can bring to the table.

Pay - 

$30/Show

A physical copy of your current headshot and resume is optional.  

Please dress comfortably and be ready to move.
