Gallery: Sketch Battle (5/27/23)

Last night, three sketch groups performed three brand new sketches based on three random prompts at Sketch Battle!

Cleveland’s longest-running sketch troupe, Sad Boys Social Club, took to the ring in a vaguely wrestling-themed sketch comedy competition against Cleveland’s most teeth-related sketch troupe, Cameron Michelle Godfrey, and Columbus’ brand new Artificial Idiocy.

This month’s prompts: Broken Promises, The In-Crowd, and Supernatural

The teams:
Sad Boys Social Club: Tabitha Jones, Jeremy Sheer, Drew Mulkins, Kristin Galewood, Dylan House, and Chris Paugh

Cameron Michelle Godfrey: Mackenzie Maguire, Cam Godfrey, and Gabe Gerry

Artificial Idiocy: Stephen Hinkle, Zach Harley, and Caitlin Menosky

Thanks to everybody who came to Sketch Battle last night. Congratulations to Cameron Michelle Godfrey who won the battle. I only got a chance to see their In Crowd sketch but holy shit. Their rendition of a middle school health assembly rehearsal will be stuck with me for a long time. Thanks to Artificial Idiocy for coming up north to be sketchy with us. Thanks to Michael Busch for filling in admirably as host while Sad Boys got mad at a chair and competed. Thanks to Sam Sullivan for working tech. Thanks to C.J.
