GREGORY JAMES

Gregory James is a Buffalo, NY native who moved to Cleveland in 2018 to earn his MFA in Acting from the Case Western Reserve University/ Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program.

Before finding a home in Cleveland, Gregory lived in Los Angeles where he studied with The Groundlings while also working behind the scenes with notable casting directors and agents. He produced several digital sketches with Slow Clap Comedy, as well as performed and directed as a founding resident member of the Whitefire Theatre in their staged comedy shorts series.

Gregory is currently a member of the sketch comedy duo, Flamingo City, who just finished their 2022 Tour with stops in Chicago, Columbus, Detroit, Buffalo, and Edinburgh, Scotland at the Fringe Festival. He continues to write, produce, direct, and teach locally.
