MARISSA LEONINO LANGE
Marissa Leonino Lange has been performing and teaching improv for over 20 years. She trained at the iO Theater in Chicago and has participated in festivals and workshops including Chicago Improv Festival and Funny Women Festival. Marissa has performed with Uncle Elaine in Chicago, Washington Improv Theater in Washington, D.C., Imposters Theater in Cleveland, and Just Go With It in Akron. While studying at Oberlin College and Conservatory, Marissa was director of Sunshine Scouts and co-founder of the Oberlin College Improv Conference, the largest annual comedy event on campus. Marissa has also auditioned for television and film in Los Angeles.
At Imposters Theater, Marissa performs with IKEA Near Me, The Imposters Society, The Riff, and Unwritten: The Improvised Musical. She produces, hosts, and performs at The Forms Show! as part of the duo Just Us. Marissa directs An Improvised Fairytale and coaches Hot Goss: The Improvised Musical. She is also a teacher at Imposters Theater and thrilled to share the stage with many of her past students!
Outside of Imposters, Marissa is owner of the Lange Music Studio, where she teaches piano and early childhood music. She and her husband have three children, two greyhounds, and a very large pile of unfolded laundry.
