September 2023 at Imposters Theater
We kicked off the Fall at Imposters Theater with a whirlwind month of improv, standup, sketch, and other nonsense!
From a stellar standup showcase headlined by Chicago’s Skyler Higley on the 1st, to a kickass private surprise party on the 30th, the month was jam packed with fun.
Highlights:
Jamie Stewart Crawford joined our teaching staff with her first level 1 class at Imposters Theater.
Improv Game Night played their EIGHTH sold out shortform improv show in a row!
Soft Launch (Jen Gallagher, Colleen Morrow, Kristen Bendzuck, Lindsey Russell, and Dasha Taraban) joined the ranks of Improv Death Match champions in their debut performance. They’ll return to defend the crown at Mass Hysteria fest Thursday, October 5th at 8:30 PM!
We kicked off The Mic @ Imposters, the new monthly show-up/go-up standup comedy open mic, every second Thursday at 9 PM. The next open mic is October 12th.
New Me: The Character Showcase returned with new host Erin McHugh. The show will share an hour with Worldbuilder again Fridays, 11/17 and 12/15 at 8:30 PM.
Ray Roberts (Wisconsin) and Tyler Ross (Chicago) coheadlined the standup showcase, hosted by Samantha Archual and featuring Tim Wolfe.
Ben Miller (NYC) brought his spectacular Standup Science show to Imposters for one night only.
The Brothers Montgomery (Ryan Santa & Gregory James) brought home the crown at our Sketch Battle Tournament of Champions!
Brand new sketch team Hammer & Pickle won the September round of Sketch Battle. We’ll see them at the next tournament of champions!

October 5th-8th: join us for Mass Hysteria Improv Comedy Fest, Cleveland’s inclusive improv comedy festival produced by women for everyone.
