The Pro Roe Variety Show (8/5/23)

After the success of 2022’s Cleveland Comedy Award-winning Pro Roe Variety Show benefit event at Forest City Brewery, host/producers Cam Godfrey and Lauren Tibjash revived the show on Imposters Theater’s new Ohio City stage!

“We’re excited to bring back this all-women variety show and also equally pissed we have to do it again!”

The room was electrified by hilarious performers and enthusiastic audience members, all fired up and passionate about protecting reproductive rights. We shouted from the rooftops: Vote No on Issue One on August 8th! Over $750 was donated to Preterm Cleveland, the non-profit sexual health clinic.

We invited back standup comedians Molly Fratz, Joan Perkins, Deena Nyer Mendlowitz, and added Julia Mary and Tabitha Jones to the Pro Roe family. We saw improv sets from The Ladies of Improv Game Night, Open to Suggestions, DKWho, and Casually Late, with guests Marissa Leonino Lange (Just Go With It), Dionne Atchison and Vivian Thomas (It’s A Match!). Plus, the Girlboss Babies (Cam Godfrey and Mackenzie Maguire) provided sketch comedy, and Sugardeer played the music!
